The peace and quiet, and the extremely clean, pure air are noticeable immediately. The house faces south east and is bathed in sunshine throughout the day. Deer and wild boar roam the valleys that skirt the property and can often be seen from the house, grazing in the fields during the sunset hours.
The house sits on a hill above the small village of Plazac. The surrounding area is rural, with localised agriculture, mainly planted as forest and worked accordingly. Two other houses make up what used to be a small hamlet, always known as La Bourelie.
